risk scores are then used to drive risk mitigation activities and focus
resources on higher risk sites and suppliers. Risk scores can be used to
determine inspection frequencies, sampling and test plans, and other
requirements. |

Risk mitigation activities also become transparent. The
system tracks root cause and corrective and preventive action plans submitted by
nonconforming sites or suppliers. Executives can easily assess what the
sites and suppliers are doing to become compliant, whether certain suppliers
